Nora has been four for four days now. We celebrated with our usual family breakfast of her choice before Chris went to work. She chose the exact same thing as last year: cinnamon rolls and berries, which we ate picnic style on our deck.
I made my pumpkin cinnamon rolls with applesauce instead of pumpkin and they turned out great. Definitely a substitution to remember, and one that is both mom and kid approved.
After breakfast she opened up her presents from us,
and Grandpa John who sent something especially fun…
I never got around to posting Nora’s birthday interview on Friday because I was so busy with party prep, but I did upload it to YouTube, so maybe you saw it there? If not, here it is:
I especially love the part where she tells me it’s funny that princesses all want to get married and have husbands…and I think she’s about to be all progressive until she tells us that they have to clean and do chores too. Haha!
It’s a little long because I just couldn’t cut any of it. I won’t hold it against you if you don’t watch the whole thing. :-) I can’t get over how different she is from last year. You really don’t realize how much they have changed in so little time until you go back and look at videos or pictures of them.
Birthday party pictures coming tomorrow since I hear a little someone awake and babbling to Dada who has to work tomorrow morning.
